Steven spent over a decade in the Amazon, learning directly from indigenous elders and grandmothers. Immersed in their ancient traditions and way of life, he deeply studied human behavior, exploring the interconnectedness of nature, spirit, and the human psyche. His time in the Amazon was more than a learning experience; it was a deeply intimate journey of exploring the self, gaining profound insight into the layers of existence, humanities evolution, and the essence of human nature. Steven’s approach is grounded in these rich teachings, carrying with him an unparalleled depth of knowledge and experience.

Before Steven knew his purpose in this lifetime, he immersed himself in the study of the Dao and Chinese medicine, training in martial arts and swordsmanship—learning both how to heal and how to harm. He dedicated years to his studies, working toward a doctorate. But when the day of his final exam arrived, he realized he no longer needed it. His true purpose had become clear. Im not making this up.  This chapter of Steven’s life now guides his entire existence. His deep understanding of one of the oldest medicinal lineages on Earth has shaped his worldview, one that seeks to address the root cause, the deep why, rather than applying superficial fixes. Whether in relationships, business, art, or medicine, he operates with the logic of Chinese medicine, considering all facets of life. Through the guidance of his grandmasters, Steven remains deeply connected to this ancient and beautiful lineage, allowing its wisdom to influence every part of his journey.

Steven’s journey as an entrepreneur began naturally at 18 when he purchased a 60-acre farm in the Andes of Colombia. His vision was twofold: to create a home and launch a retreat center, which aligned with his devotion to learning from elders and exploring different cultures. He hand-built his retreat center from the ground up, and these experiences opened his young mind to the stark contrast between Canada and the vibrant cultures he encountered. Steven saw this as a deep wound in Canada—a lack of cultural spaces for people to truly connect. This realization became the driving force behind his desire to create affordable spaces for people to gather and connect in Canada, which eventually led him to found Westcoast Bathhouse. Westcoast Bathhouse is his answer to this need—a place designed to provide accessible, communal wellness experiences that honor cultural diversity and community connection. While this vision was forming, Steven built a successful construction business, generating over $2 million in annual revenue. This venture, though rewarding, served a different purpose in his life—it grounded him after years of exploring psychedelics, healing, and self-discovery. This chapter was one of blue jeans, building foundations, and spending quality time with his children. Like many, Steven experienced necessary lessons of business, the eventual fall of this venture. The lessons of that chapter remain with him today. He understands the importance of hiring the right people, pacing growth, and remaining devoted to the work you create, no matter what. Being in true devotion, means to be in love. Now, Steven is the founder of a few pre-seed projects. One of them, Human Family AI, is focused on getting humans off their tech—on purpose and with joy. Another, Bathhouse Global, aims to disrupt the wellness market by providing high-quality, templatable bathhouses at an affordable rate. His heart is in writing a white paper and thesis on society, the economy, and a post-capitalism framework, furthering his commitment to creating spaces for connection and healing while exploring new economic paradigms for the future.
